Jio Unveils Budget-Friendly Package Providing 90-Day Access to Zee5 and SonyLIV at Only Rs. 12 Daily

Reliance Jio has introduced an economical subscription package that grants users access to popular streaming platforms Zee5 and SonyLIV for a three-month period at just Rs. 12 per day.

The telecom giant’s latest offering combines entertainment value with affordability, allowing subscribers to enjoy content from both streaming services without purchasing separate subscriptions. This bundled approach represents significant savings compared to individual platform subscriptions.

The new plan, positioned to attract entertainment enthusiasts, provides seamless access to SonyLIV’s extensive sports coverage including cricket matches, football tournaments, and tennis championships, alongside their original series and international shows. Simultaneously, subscribers gain entry to Zee5’s rich library of regional content, original web series, and Bollywood releases.

Industry analysts note this move aligns with Jio’s strategy of enhancing value-added services while maintaining competitive pricing. The Rs. 12 daily rate translates to approximately Rs. 1,080 for the entire 90-day period, substantially less than subscribing to both platforms independently.

The plan comes amid intensifying competition in the telecom sector, with providers increasingly bundling entertainment packages to attract and retain customers. Jio’s approach targets the growing segment of mobile-first content consumers who prefer watching entertainment on their smartphones.

Subscription activation is available through the MyJio app, with the plan immediately accessible upon purchase. The company has indicated the offer will be available for a limited time, encouraging users to subscribe promptly to benefit from the promotional pricing.

This launch follows Jio’s consistent pattern of disrupting both telecom and digital entertainment markets through innovative pricing strategies since its entry into the market.
